Lebronze Alloys in Washington, D.C.
Last week, a small delegation from Lebronze alloys traveled to Washington, D.C., for several days of meetings with members of Congress, congressional staff, and the broader community of policymakers who share a stake in the resilience of America's industrial base. CEO Marie de Saint Salvy led the delegation, joined by Jason Lague, General Manager of LBA North America, and sales leaders Bryan Bednarz and Dawn Borgo.
The conversations centered on a straightforward proposition: Lebronze alloys is committed to expanding our domestic operations in the United States. Bringing advanced alloy production closer to the customers who rely on it in aerospace, defense, and energy infrastructure is a deliberate step toward serving those industries with the speed and reliability that a critical supply chain demands.
That expansion has been underway for some time, even if it hasn't always been visible from the outside. This trip gave us a chance to open new conversations with state and local officials who understand what it takes to turn an investment decision into good manufacturing jobs on the ground.
Manufacturing capacity is only half the equation. Our conversations with lawmakers also focused on advancing research in nuclear energy, metallurgy, advanced alloys, and materials science, and on building a genuine pipeline of apprentices and interns who can grow into the metallurgists this industry will need for the next several decades.
“We have always believed that being close to our customers is key to our success, and right now that means building real manufacturing capability here in the United States. The alloys we produce are not a commodity. They go into the platforms and infrastructure that critical industries depend on. Bringing more of that capability on-shore lets us serve our customers more efficiently and reinforces the durability of the U.S. supply chain.”
- Marie de Saint Salvy, CEO, Lebronze alloys
We're grateful to the lawmakers, staff, and partners who gave us their time. As Lebronze alloys continues to grow its investment and presence across the United States, weeks like this one are exactly the kind of groundwork that make it possible.
