Copper-Nickel-Tin Alloys

Cu-Ni-Sn · spinodal age-hardening · beryllium-free

Spinodal copper-nickel-tin alloys deliver beryllium-free spring, bearing and connector performance, very high strength and elasticity, excellent stress-relaxation resistance and a non-galling bearing surface. LBA’s Hardiall®, Niclafor® 1000 and Declafor® lines are a qualified, lead- and beryllium-free upgrade path from C17200 copper-beryllium.

Why Copper-Nickel-Tin Alloys

Key characteristics.

Very high strength & elasticity

Spinodal hardening rivals copper-beryllium mechanics.

Stress-relaxation resistance

Holds contact force through thermal cycling.

Non-galling bearing surface

Excellent friction, shock and wear behaviour.

Be- & lead-free

Recyclable upgrade from C17200, REACH / RoHS.
