Overview

Copper-Nickel-Tin Alloys.

Hardiall® is the very-high-strength CuNi15Sn8 member of Lebronze Alloys' wrought spinodal range. Its strength comes from a spinodal decomposition developed inside the alloy during a final controlled heat treatment, a process that can roughly triple the yield strength of the base metal while keeping the material ductile and machinable.

That combination lets Hardiall® stand in for beryllium copper (CuBe2) without the health and handling constraints of beryllium: comparable mechanical properties, superior surface behaviour and workability, and full REACH / RoHS compliance.

Because Lebronze Alloys is fully integrated (casting, hot and cold working, heat treatment and NDT all in-house), Hardiall® ships with complete traceability, as semi-finished bar, tube, rod and wire or as ready-to-use machined parts.
