K7 (CuNi14Al3Fe1, Werkstoff 2.1504) is a wrought copper-nickel-aluminium bronze designed for high-strength, high-reliability applications. It combines very high mechanical properties with good impact and fatigue resistance, outstanding metal-to-metal wear and galling resistance, and is strictly non-magnetic.
With very good resistance to sea-water corrosion, erosion and oxidation, and easy machinability, K7 is widely used across aerospace, landing gear, airframe and control-surface components, as well as marine and oil & gas applications. It is lead- and beryllium-free and REACH / RoHS compliant.
